Tonight is THE night. Well, it’s part 1 of THE night. Well, it’s part 1 of a series of “THE night”-ses. Point is, The Doctor, our Doctor, is back in BIG way! And thanks to GetGlue, BBC, and all the AWESOME GG users who are fans of Doctor Who we have GetGlue stickers for this night of nights! Way to go fans :-) & thank you GG & BBC!!! It’s nearly time here on the US East Coast… Silence will fall - but not before I shout, “Hell yes! Doctor Who is baaaaack!”

Hi all - a great suggestion by GG User Darkknight1501: append the words Dr.Who to your changeable username as a sign of solidarity & to generate buzz for the sticker project. That’s a GREAT idea, and I’ve already done it to my name. You’ll see my username now as Darlordmtt|DrWho (I used the pipe character the way trading card games do… I’m a geek, I know.) So, there you have it. Will you join me over the next few weeks in adding the Doctor’s name to your own?

Ok. After an AMAZING week last week where we climbed as high as #3 we’ve slipped back down to # 7 :( We’re even below Entertainment Weekly?!?! Let’s get back up there even higher… We can do it :)

Those “in-the-know”, know that GetGlue is THE phenom in interactive pop culture and social media. What a shame it is that our beloved time traveling hero, The Doctor, is not yet “in the Glue” with stickers, check-in events, and the overall FUN that GG brings to our favorite media. If ever there was a show worthy of the buzz that Glue provides, it’s Dr Who. It’s time to add a little “gluey, sticky” to our wibbly-wobbly, timey-wimey stuff! Please write to BBC, BBC America, and the staff at Dr. Who to petition for Series 11.2’s addition to Glue. Checkout the Who pages on Glue and let your voice be heard… like a million voices calling out at once, “Doctor”!
